Safety Check-In
Start a timer before an activity. If you don't cancel it, GoLynQ Help will open the selected emergency action.
Alert message:
Keep this page open. Browser security may require a final tap before placing a phone call.
Emergency Contact
Text alerts go to both numbers. Calls and WhatsApp go to the primary contact.
Contacts are stored only on this device.
About you
Shown on your live location link, and to GoLynQ Meet users if you alert them.
Added to every SOS text, WhatsApp alert and share. Also shown on your live location link and to GoLynQ Meet users you alert.
Only shown on your live location link, to help whoever comes to help you. It stays on this device until a live link starts, and is deleted with the link.
Live location link
When on, sending an alert (or the check-in timer running out) starts sharing your position with the GoLynQ Meet server run by Videre Research, and your texts, WhatsApp alerts and shares include a link where your contacts can follow you live. When off, your position is never sent to this server.
Your alerts also appear in a private GoLynQ Meet group, with your position and message. Invite family and friends once: they see you whenever you share your live location, and can get notified. Only people you invite see it.
People nearby using GoLynQ Meet will see a red HELP signal at your exact position, with your name and message, so that someone close by can come and help.
Strangers will see exactly where you are. Don't turn this on if you could be in danger from someone who might use the app.
